Product Introduction

The device is suitable for predicting the relative durability of non-metallic materials such as coatings, coatings, and plastics through light-water exposure accelerated aging testing. It is particularly suitable for observing the physical properties of particularly durable materials such as loss of gloss, fading, fog shadowing, reduced strength, crushing, cracking, blistering and embrittlement.

As with other laboratory accelerated testing, the device's test results cannot be used in lieu of natural exposure to determine the actual durability of a material, but the comparative test conditions provided by this device are essential for quickly evaluating the anti-aging properties of materials, screening or improving old and new formulations, and monitoring product quality.

Since UV light is the main factor leading to the deterioration of the durability of outdoor products, coupled with the relatively stable spectral energy distribution of fluorescent lamps and low price, UV photoaging test chambers rely on their speed, convenience and economy. As a simple model, this device is particularly suitable for experiments with limited economic conditions.

The unit features a rotating plate holder design that compensates well for uneven light radiation due to a variety of factors such as lamp aging and different batches, saving the heavy workload of general-purpose instruments that require regular sequential plate position changes.

Since moisture is an important factor in accelerating aging, the device uses a spray of water to simulate the effects of moisture. By setting the spray time, we can get closer to certain final environmental conditions, such as temperature changes or mechanical erosion favored by rain erosion.

The device can also regulate the rate of photochemical reactions within the appropriate range through a temperature control mechanism.

To meet the durability requirements of weather testers, the construction of the device is made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel.

At a relatively low cost, it is possible to understand the material damage that can form over a longer period of time under natural conditions and to determine the quality gap between the tested product and the high-quality sample.
