Product Introduction

Continuous salt spray test chamber is widely used to test the corrosion resistance of components and coatings. Applications include industrial, maintenance, construction and marine coatings; electroplating and paint layers; aerospace and military coatings, surfaces and components, electrical and electronic systems and components.

Most of these tests, according to specific specifications, are widely used in related corrosion testing and are typically run at elevated temperatures, excluding drying cycles. The required spray air should be heated before entering the nozzle.

During the salt spray function, the test chamber acts as a typical conventional salt spray operation.

• The air injection solenoid valve opens, and compressed air is humidified through a saturator (humidity helps maintain stable pH concentration) to the nozzle.

• The corrosive solvent from the brine tank is drawn into the nozzle, where it mixes with the compressed air.

• The nozzle sprays the brine solvent and air into a corrosive mist.

The chamber heater maintains the programmed chamber temperature.

This function is also used for pure water mist exposure.

 

Drying Environment

During the drying function, the dehumidification system is turned on to remove moisture from the box.  As the fan operates, the indoor air enters the air heater and then into the box, thus creating low humidity conditions in the box. The cabinet temperature is controlled by the cabinet heater and the air heater. Before the end of the drying process, the air heater is turned off for 5 seconds to prevent overheating of the heater channel and components near it due to the fan shutting off.

 

Humidity Environment

During the humidity function, hot water in the humidification tank boiler is evaporated into the tank to maintain the set humidity of the tank.

 

Condensation Environment

During the condensation process, the water in the tank is heated by heating tubes in the bottom of the tank to maintain the tank at approximately 100% relative humidity.

 

Rest (Storage) Environment

During the static function, the cabinet temperature is automatically maintained by the cabinet heater, without generating spray, drying, air washing, or humidity.

6. Gas supply system

The air pressure is 1 kg/cm2 and can be adjusted in two stages. The first is the imported pressure regulating filter with water filtration function.

Roughly adjusted to 2-2.5kg/cm2, the second is the imported precision pressure regulator, adjusted to the pressure gauge 1kg/cm2.

7. Spraying method:

1. Apply Bernuert's principle to take and absorb salt water and atomize it, with a uniform degree of atomization, no blocking of crystallization, and ensuring the standard of continuous testing.

2. Nozzle: Made of special glass nozzle, the size and angle of the spray can be adjusted.

3. Spray volume: adjustable 1.5 ± 0.5 ml 80 cm²/hour (16 hours average volume).

4. Large brine storage tank, 48 hours continuous spraying.

8. Heating system:

External hot air heating method is used to reduce standby time and component damage rate.

9. Circuit control system

1. The main controller adopts a 7-inch LCD man-machine interface, and the main screen can plan the test program.

2. The fixed time can be set to 0-999 H 59 MIN.

10.Inlet and drainage system:

The water inlet adopts an automatic replenishment system. When the water level is too low, it is automatically replenished, and manual hydration can be used.

The drain pump is acid, alkali, and corrosion resistant, which increases the service life and reduces the waiting time for drainage.

All pipe fittings are imported acid and alkali corrosion-resistant components with long life.

12. Dehumidification system

The evaporator condenses and dehumidifies and stabilizes the humidity.
