Application

The internal pressure test is a test procedure for determining the strength of thermoplastic pipes to constant hydrostatic internal pressure at a constant temperature. The samples are tested either for a specified period or until they fail. The test duration is subject to the tension generated by the internal pressure and the temperature.

GT-HPS series is mainly used to determine the resistance of internal pressure and time-to-failure (short-time) burst pressure of both thermoplastic and reinforced thermosetting/resin pipe at constant water pressure at constant temperature.
