Tape Shear Adhesive Tester

Product Introduction

The tape shear adhesive tester is suitable for adhesive testing of adhesive tapes, protective films, labels, plasters and other products. The resistance of the adhesive sample to pull off can be expressed by the displacement of the adhesive sample or the time when the sample completely detaches after a certain amount of time.

Under constant load conditions, temperature (23 +-1)C and relative humidity (50-5)C, the adhesiveness of the tape to the standard steel plate is measured by the failure time of the tape. Tackiness of Standard Steel Plates: Tape is applied to standard steel plates at a controlled rolling rate. The steel plate is mounted vertically or horizontally and a standard weight is hung at the free end of the tape to determine when the adhesive fails.

Note: The vertical method is used for viscous measurement with a failure time of less than 4 h, and the horizontal method is used for viscous measurement with a failure time greater than 4 h.
