The salt spray test is used to test the corrosion resistance of various materials after surface treatments, including coatings, electroplating, inorganic and organic films, anodizing, and anti-corrosion treatments such as rust-preventive oil.
The inner and outer shells are integrally welded from PP sheets, ensuring corrosion resistance, impact resistance, easy cleaning, and zero leakage.
Standards Met:
This equipment conforms to GB10587-89 "Technical Conditions for Salt Spray Testing Machines" and can perform various salt spray tests (NSS, ACSS, CASS) according to GB2423.17-93 "Basic Test Procedures for Electrical and Electronic Products - Test Ka: Salt Spray Test Method" and other equivalent standards such as GB/T 5170, GJB150, IEC, DIN, MIL, and ASTM.
Control Method :
1. Utilizing the Bernoulli principle, salt water is drawn and then atomized, resulting in uniform atomization without clogging or crystallization, ensuring consistent testing standards.
2. Nozzle: Made of special glass, the nozzle has a service life of up to 4200 hours and allows adjustment of spray volume and angle.
3. Spray Volume: The dual spray towers are located in the test chamber, ensuring uniform mist distribution. The volume can be adjusted to 1~2 ml/80cm²•h (16-hour average).

Spray tower |
The spray is a tower-type sprayer with nozzles made of fired quartz glass. The nozzle orifice is designed to be 0.7–1 mm according to national standards, resulting in fine mist particles. The salt spray is suspended and then slowly settles naturally, distributing evenly. |

Sealing cap |
The chamber lid is made of PP board with a transparent acrylic observation window and is 100º~120º top cover, so that the condensation water of salt spray inside the chamber will not drip directly onto the sample (the chamber lid of model 120 and above is opened/closed by a pneumatic device and does not need to be opened manually). The observation window is made of transparent acrylic and can be used to observe the test status of the sample. |

The high-pressure resistant barrel provides optimal heat preservation. The compressed air used for spraying is filtered by an oil-water separator and then saturated with warm water before spraying, ensuring the air contains a certain level of humidity and is free of impurities. The chamber temperature remains stable and does not drift during long-term operation of the salt spray test chamber. It features a water cooling protection device with an indicator light to show the water cooling level (not automatic water replenishment). |
